Position Objectives:
The Town of Grafton is accepting applications for Town Clerk. Ideal candidates will have some municipal experience as a deputy clerk or other demonstrated, relevant experience.
This role requires strong communication, organizational, and computer skills, as well as knowledge of meeting, ordinance and municipal operations. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, but applicable work history will also be considered.
The Town of Grafton is in a thriving area of Ozaukee County along Lake Michigan. The town is primarily residential in nature. Job duties include meeting and elections management, working with the town planner and engineer regarding development inquiries and day-to-day interaction with town residents. You’ll enjoy working in our newly renovated and updated town hall, conveniently located adjacent to I-43.
Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 p.m., Fridays 8:30 a.m. until noon. The office is closed on Fridays from June 1 through September 30. There are two evening municipal meetings per month.
