🗳️ Board of Directors Positions Open for 2025–2026
We are seeking outstanding leaders to help guide WMCA’s future! The following positions are up for election:
- 2nd Vice President (ascends to WMCA President in three years)
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Director-at-Large
How to Apply:
Please complete and submit the 2025–2026 Board of Directors Application Packet, available on the WMCA website.
Deadline:
Monday, May 12, 2025 — by 4:00 p.m.

Important Reminders:
- A letter of support from your immediate supervisor or primary elected official must be included.
- A brief description of each Board position is available on Page 4 of the application packet.

Our committees are where friendships are formed, skills are sharpened, and real change happens. We want every WMCA member to have a chance to get involved!
We’ve updated the committee appointment process to make it even easier and more accessible for everyone:
What’s New?
- New Online Application: Easy to complete and submit. Application period will open by this weekend at this link.
- Choose One or Multiple Committees: Apply where you feel called to contribute.
- Interested in Chairing? You can indicate that too!
Timeline for Committee Applications:
- Early May:
➡️ Current committee members will be notified that their terms end on August 31st and invited to re-apply or explore new committees.
➡️ ALL members may apply to ALL committees, or express interest in serving as a Chair. - New applicants welcome!
- Applications may be submitted at this link. Instructions on how to apply for a committee are attached below.
- Deadline to Apply: June 15, 2025
The incoming President will review all applications and make committee appointment recommendations for the Board’s Organizational Meeting.
