Board Of Review

The Board of Review is a statutorily required local board. It is a quasi-judicial (court-like) body empowered with three primary duties:

While the make up of each municipality’s Board of Review can vary in the number of members and which officials sit as voting members, the Clerk plays a role in the process.

The Wisconsin Department of Revenue has trained several clerks around the state (members of the WMCA that have volunteered to teach) to provide this training for clerks and all members of the Board of Review panel.
