WMCA Annual Conferences

Held once a year on the third Thursday and Friday in August.
It is a value packed day and a half of education and recognition.

And the Pre-conference training is great, too!

There are 3 additional education opportunities and Vendor Demonstrations that are held on Wednesday before the annual conference.

The New Clerks Class
If you are a new clerk and unsure of what to do when, this is the class for you. The New Clerks Class is taught by seasoned clerks from a town, a village, and a city and a municipal attorney. Click here for a copy of the 2010 New Clerks Class Registration.

An Athenian Dialog
New at the 2010 Pre-conference on Wednesday, August 18 - An Athenian Dialog - Beautiful Jim Key by Mim Eichler Rivas. Athenian Dialogs/Leadership Dialogues are conversations that exceed the usual knowledge recall and application process. They explore leadership principles and practices, drawing on the insights contained in a book that all participants have read.  Dialogues are conversations in which Municipal Clerks share their experience and understanding as they relate to the author’s ideas and the relevance of those ideas to their public leadership role. UWGB - Master Academy Class
The UWGB Institute Director arranges an all-day educational opportunity on the Wednesday before our conference at the conference location. An individual registration form is provided by the UWGB. Click here for the UWGB-Master Academy Class Registration and details on the August 2010 class.
