Clerkfest II - 2009 Was A Big Success!
at the
Wyndam Milwaukee Airport
4747 South Howell Avenue
Milwaukee, WI 53207
August 19-21, 2009
Clerk attendees and Associates alike said this was one of the best conferences they have ever attended!
The education was great; the networking with fellow clerks was wonderful and the food, bands and dancing, and shopping opportunities were enjoyed by all.
There was quality time with the vendors - learning about their products at the Vendor Demonstrations; participating in the Scavenger Hunt that created interaction in the Vendor area and the clerks taking time between classes to talk with our vendors about the products was greatly appreciated by our vendors.
To the 2009 WMCA Conference Committee - "Thanks for the Great Conference!"

Friday's Class with Anne Schwartz - "No Matter What You Say - It Will be Held Against You"
Ms. Schwartz talked about working with the media, including examples from her job. Anne E. She was appointed Communications Director for the Milwaukee Police Department in 2004 and commands the Department’s Office of Media & Communications under Police Chief Edward A. Flynn.
The Wednesday evening "President's Reception by the Pool" had to be brought
inside due to rain, but it was still a good time for everyone with great food, a band and the shopping opportunities that were offered.

Pampered Chef was one of 8 tables of home shopping products that were brought in for the clerks to check out and make purchases, if they wished, during their leisure time on Wednesday evening.
2008-2009 President Nancy Zastrow welcomed everyone to the 29th Annual Banquet on Thursday evening.
President Zastrow awarded two President's Awards this year to Mike Hoppenrath, PEC Chairman and to Peggy Nelson, District II Director.
The prestigous Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Russ Nero, WCMC/CMC, Clerk/Treasurer from the City of Wautoma.
